Retire the report before you rebuild the chart
A prettier pack on contradictory sources only accelerates the wrong argument in Sheung Wan boardrooms.
Teams under board pressure often skip source naming and jump to a redesigned dashboard. Weeks later, two owners argue over different totals for the same weekday because three extracts still describe one operational fact.
Prefer decision verbs over tool names. Keep system of record out of the report title and in a property. Write refresh windows the same day the pack is born—or the pack becomes a free-form dump.
