Data controller
Sys Data Lab, operating from Finance Bldg, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, is the controller for personal data collected through sysdatalab.digital and during application analytics engagements. Contact: hello@sysdatalab.digital, +852 2581 0760.
What we collect
From the contact form we receive your name, email address, optional topic, and message content. During engagements we may process business contact details and credentials you voluntarily share for read-only access to reporting tooling. Server logs may include IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
Why we use data
We use contact details to reply to enquiries, prepare scopes and invoices, and deliver contracted analytics work. We use limited analytics cookies (when accepted) to understand which pages are visited. We do not sell personal data.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site functional. Analytics cookies load only after you accept via the consent banner. See our Cookie Policy for details. Rejecting analytics cookies does not block browsing or form submission.
Retention
Enquiry messages are retained up to twenty-four months unless a longer period is needed for an active engagement or legal obligation. Engagement records and invoices are retained as required by Hong Kong business record rules. Analytics cookie identifiers expire according to the periods described in the Cookie Policy.
International transfers
Our hosting or email providers may process data outside Hong Kong. Where transfers occur, we use providers that offer appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable Hong Kong data protection expectations.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions. Email hello@sysdatalab.digital with your request. You may also withdraw cookie consent by clearing site data or contacting us.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure; please avoid sending passwords or production secrets through the public contact form.
