When KPI labels outlive their definitions
A familiar name can hide a remapped status code that rewrote every week-over-week cell.
After a systems cutover, the same KPI label often points at a different filter stack. Leadership celebrates or panics; the operations floor never felt the swing.
Before rewriting the weekly narrative, rebuild the metric from raw extracts and list every break. Note timezone cutoffs against HKT calendars. Check whether soft deletes still land in the same bucket.
